Craigieburn facility shortlisted for global award.

Designer HBO+EMTB' s Melbourne studio has been shortlisted in the World Architectural Awards for its
design of the Craigieburn Train Maintenance Facility (CTMF).

The CTMF has been announced as one of eight projects shortlisted in the transport category at the 2012 World Architecture Festival awards.

The facility was completed in December 2011 and, at 1.2 hectares in size, is the largest of its kind in Australia housing up to 25 trains at a time.

The World Architecture Festival is the world’s largest festival and live awards competition dedicated to celebrating, and sharing architectural excellence from across the globe.

The awards, now in their fifth year, will take place in Singapore on 3-5 October at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
