Chelsea Station pedestrian access changes
From October 2020 to Tuesday 15 June 2021
Pedestrian access on Station Street between the underpass and Argyle Avenue will be closed until early 2022. Pedestrians will need to detour via Chelsea Road, Station Street and Argyle Avenue.
Pedestrian access on Nepean Highway between the pedestrian crossing and Argyle Avenue will be closed until early 2022. Pedestrians will need to detour via the other side of Nepean Highway.
The underpass will remain open until 16 June 2021.
From Wednesday 16 June 2021 to early 2022
The Chelsea station pedestrian underpass is closed.
Pedestrian access between Nepean Highway and Station Street will be via the Chelsea Road level crossing or via the Argyle Avenue level crossing.
Pedestrian access on Station Street between the station entrance and Argyle Avenue is closed. Pedestrians will need to detour via Chelsea Road, Station Street and Argyle Avenue.
Pedestrian access on Nepean Highway between the station entrance and Argyle Avenue will be closed until early 2022. Pedestrians will need to detour via the other side of Nepean Highway.
Pedestrians will be able to cross at the new Chelsea Pedestrian Bridge and new Chelsea Station when works are complete.
